MASALA KULCHA RECIPE
Introduction
Masala Kulcha is an absolutely simple and testy recipe , easy to make. You can make this flat bread any time at home. You can even make it with the veggies you have at home .
Ingredients
1. maida / refined flour
2. curd / yogurt
3. baking soda
4. baking powder
5. sugar
6. oil
7. salt to taste
8. potatoes boiled and
grated
9. green chili finely chopped
10. methi leaves / fenugreek leaves
11. paneer grated
12.
red
chili powder
13.
coriander
powder
14.
cumin
powder
15. amchur powder
16. garam masala powder
Method
- Take a large mixing bowl, add maida, baking powder, baking soda, yogurt, salt, sugar, and oil to it. Mix all the ingredients together.
- Knead the maida with lukewarm water and make a soft-smooth dough.
- Cover the dough with a wet kitchen napkin.
- Let it leaven for 2 hours. After 2 hours, lightly knead the dough again.
- Now we need to prepare the masala stuffing.
- Boil potetos, peel and mash them.
- Now take a mixing bowl and add grated paneer to it.
- Add the spices ( red chilly powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder, amchur powder, and salt) and finely chopped green chilly and methi leaves.
- Mix well and make equal-sized balls out of the dough.
- Stuff the masala mixture balls and seal the edges.
- Dust it with flour, and flatten this ball into a thick paratha.
- Sprinkle some sesame seeds and roll the paratha slightly again.
- Heat a pan, grease it with ghee or oil. Place the parathas in the pan and fry them on both sides until golden brown.
- Masala kulcha is ready.
How to serve:
You can serve it with yogurt, pickle or any
kind of spicy gravy dishes.
Conclution:
Masala
kulcha is a famous north Indian dish. It is completely different than
